We went to see the beach in Scheveningen during our day trip to The Hague last week. It was really nice to see the sea but the whole place had a slightly dated and garish feel. Not in a nice way unfortunately.
Still, it was a lovely day out!
I seem to have a soft spot for beaches, even if the waves tend to scare me quite a bit. :-)
